I was in the kitchen cooking dinner when I noticed there was a monic butterfly flying around the flowers in my front garden. This picture reminded me of my childhood in primary school, caring for the caterpillars in the classroom and waiting anxiously for the crystallises to become beautiful butterflies. This memory was what inspired the drawing of the butterfly.

The surroundings of the Butterly in my drawing was drawn to add to beauty of the butterfly. The original took me 15 hours to complete. This high-quality hand drawn ink artwork is a limited edition print, its one of only 100 ever printed.
